The Max Labs Project

Overview:

Since 2014, the Max Labs Project, has been engaging iGen Business students in learning IS concepts experientially through a unique hands-on course supplement that lets any/all Business students build mobile & web enterprise apps in the cloud with no-coding. The Max Labs are “storified,” meeting students where they are with Influencer-Based Learning (IBL) delivered in the form of a blog by a fictional Marketing student, a girl named Max. In her postings, Max tells the story of her internship at a Silicon Valley startup and shows her “followers”, step-by-step, how to build the solutions she innovates using free cloud-based PaaS accounts from tech sector heavyweight Salesforce. Developed by a professor at San Jose State University, the Max Labs are self-supported, self-grading & almost free!
